(PMAC-AMPC.CA) 26 March 2010 - The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that the Project Management Association of Canada has revised its official name to reflect Canadian French usage, rather than Parisian French usage. The new Canadian French version of the association's name is "Association de gestion de projet du Canada" and its acronym will change to PMAC-AGPC.
Updates are being made to the association's web site content and legal filings. Email addresses will currently stay with the old URL (PMAC-AMPC.ca) until the web site is moved under the new URL (PMAC-AGCP.ca).
Any questions about this change should be forwarded to the association's president (president@pmac-ampc.ca)

Capital Project Cost Control
by Morley Selver
Project cost control is a very important topic — even more important when the project budgets can often stretch into the hundreds of millions (even billions) of dollars and small mistakes can get magnified into huge problems. This DVD is a live recording of a webinar by Morley Selver, known as "The Project Doctor," who has over 30 years of real-world plant project engineering experience.
Selver has donated all author royalties from the sale of this DVD to the PMAC.
