Young Crew Canada presented an information session at the University of Toronto campus on April 1st, 2010. Young Crew Canada is a key component of PMAC's growth and development of the leaders of tomorrow. Young Crew Canada is a network for young project management professionals and students under 35 years old.
The information session was presented by the President of PMAC Beverly Pasian, and by Elmira Kalali one of the young volunteers who coordinated the event and is leading Young Crew Canada. Topics of discussion included the mission and vision of PMAC and Young Crew Canada, followed by a question and answer period.
This event was the first event organized by Young Crew Canada and based on the response there will be many more to come.
Attached is a pdf version of what was discussed. The powerpoint presentation is available upon request.
Looking forward to meeting you all in the next event !

Capital Project Cost Control
by Morley Selver
Project cost control is a very important topic — even more important when the project budgets can often stretch into the hundreds of millions (even billions) of dollars and small mistakes can get magnified into huge problems. This DVD is a live recording of a webinar by Morley Selver, known as "The Project Doctor," who has over 30 years of real-world plant project engineering experience.
Selver has donated all author royalties from the sale of this DVD to the PMAC.
